Talking about his government’s approach which is completely different from the previous governments, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is changing this mindset of neglecting the backward classes by prioritizing education and financial empowerment of women to realize Babasaheb’s vision of social justice and equality.

The Chief Minister said, “Baba Sahib was a great scholar, jurist, economist, social reformer and a politician. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “The Constitution of India was the result of Babasaheb Ambedkar’s hard work, dedication and vision. Babasaheb was not only a leader of the weaker sections, but he was a leader of the entire humanity.”
Inviting the gathering to follow the path shown by Babasaheb Ambedkar, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Babasaheb Ambedkar always promoted democratic values in all spheres, be it social, economic and political. He advocated equal status and respect for all. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “The AAP government has launched the ‘Mawan Dhiyan Shreh Yojana’, under which women belonging to Scheduled Castes will be given financial assistance of Rs 1,500 per month and other women will be given Rs 1,000 per month. About 90 per cent household consumers are getting zero electricity bills. More than 65 thousand youths have got government jobs.”
He also appealed to the people to register for the Chief Minister Health Yojana so that they can get cashless treatment worth Rs 10 lakh.
